Walking the High Line is now a tradition for any trip to New York. We hoped to find a break in the rain to make the walk but no break was to be found. We ended up getting off the path at Chelsea Market to explore and have lunch.

People walking the High Line in NYC on a rainy day carrying colorful umbrellas including a red New York souvenir umbrella, surrounded by lush greenery and brick buildings. The High Line elevated park path flanked by lush green plantings and city buildings, with visitors carrying umbrellas in the rain ahead. Colorful abstract metal sculptures on tall poles outside a modern concrete building near the High Line in New York City Large pink mural on a building along the High Line featuring NY subway symbols, pizza, birds, faces, and hands, as two people walk past with an umbrella.

Other times on the High Line: 2012, 2018, 2023 (Tyler and I), 2023 (Tammy and I), and 2023 (Family).
