• 3:33 pm: Starting to cross the Mojave Desert. 103 outside.
• 6:50 pm: 107 °F outside. Scared.
• 7:12 pm: Paying $5.50/gallon for gas. No joke. 60 miles outside Las Vegas.
• 11:05 pm: Super happy with our room at Mandeley Bay. Great setup.
