Movies
Quick reactions to films we’ve watched as a family—ranging from the bonkers fun of Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning to indie darlings, animated favorites and rewatching Into the Wild with my daughter. I note what resonated (or didn’t) and who joined us.
Fun time watching The Lost City tonight. 🍿
Fun seeing The Super Mario Bros. Movie tonight! I thought the movie was a lot of fun. I enjoyed how they brought the characters to life. 🍿
We watched Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle tonight and thought it was really fun. Better movie than I expected. Plenty of good laughs and fun action. 🍿
We watched A Man Called Otto tonight and everyone thought it was an incredible story and engaging acting. Didn’t want the movie to end when it was over. Recommended! 🍿
Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris
We all enjoyed Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris. If your looking for a delightful and fun story this will hit the spot. 🍿
Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile was a really silly movie but a fun family time nonetheless. 🍿
Ticket to Paradise
Tammy and I went to Ticket to Paradise at the newly renovated Edina Theatre today. It was a funny movie, enjoyable, and very predictable. Pretty much exactly what you would expect, which is great if that is what you are looking for. We enjoyed it. 🍿
First family movie night in new house. I finally got the family room setup. We watched Enola Holmes 2. Good sequel and looking forward to more. 🍿
Turning Red was a good afternoon movie on a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon. I liked the depth of the story, and that the plot is primarily driven through the women in the story. 🍿
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent was a really fun movie. The Nicholas Cage playing himself the movie constantly fluxes in this meta between the movie and the story of the movie. It reminded me a little of Being John Malkovich. 🍿
