The stock grant—part of a compensation package set in 2011—was contingent on the tech firm meeting various financial targets, which it did. Decided to take in a gorgeous day and work on our porch today. iPad Pro in Sidecar display is nice to have more desktop.

Upgraded to iOS 14.6 and after everyone was updated setup Apple Card Family. Worked really well. Very streamlined setup experience. Curious how my daughter will use the card we got her. Financial literacy!

Sat down to figure out what was wrong with my 27-inch 2019 Retina 5K iMac. Beach balls. Terrible performance. Random crashes.

Turns out the Fusion Drive had “split” and the machine was completely confused about the disk system.

Complete rebuild and it is fast again!
