I gave the “Always On Display” feature of the iPhone 14 Pro several weeks to get used to, but have finally turned it off. When the display is on it catches my attention every time I see it. It leaves me wondering if there is something I need to check. No good.

my wife got a 14 Pro too. She started by disabling the wallpaper but found the battery drain to be too extensive. She turned the whole thing off.

this is good feedback as I don’t have a 14 Pro and have wondered if I would like the always-on display. Never thought if it was always on even dimly lit if I would think I had a notification.

@ericmwalk I tried to adapt thinking that I would get used to it and think it was better. It was super distracting for me. Much happier with it off.
