My car was parked right here before the storm hit, right next to @quinntchrest. Luckily we both moved them to a clear area. These branches would have done significant damage.
We are visiting my relatives in Grandin, ND and last night’s storm was the worst I’ve ever been through. Winds in excess of 100 mph. Lasted for hours. Power is out to the entire town. Many trees down. Uncle’s house power line from the pole is down.
Getting the pool ready for summer!
Arrived at the cabin tonight and were greeted with a two-foot-high snow plow line to shovel through. Cleared enough to barrel through.
High winds this week blew two of our neighbor’s dock sections into our yard.
School cancelled for tomorrow due to extreme cold. Tyler was ecstatic to hear the news. Forecast is for -15 °F at 8am tomorrow and the cold snap breaks around noon. 🥶
I have multiple UniFi G4 Instant cameras mounted outside and this cold snap is the coldest they have experienced. Well below the -4° F specification. So far they are holding in there.
At the Chocolate Ox for January ice cream. Melting? Go outside! -9 °F.
Benefit of it being -11 °F? Easy to flash freeze a Rafferty’s Veggie Supreme pizza to bring home for Tammy’s sister.
