I’ve been trying to export a single photo taken in 2008 from Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC. It has taken over 15 minutes of time loading various bits from the cloud. For some reason running this one app requires no fewer than five applications (all but Lightroom hidden). The amount of memory and CPU being chewed up is ridiculous. This needs a better solution.

A simple gallery of standalone photographs—spirals, sunsets, city streets and waterfalls—each shared with minimal text. It’s my place to let pictures speak for themselves.
I wonder how many Neural Engines the iPhone will need before it can properly adjust exposure for snow scenes. 😖
With all the amazing computational photography power of an iPhone XS, why can’t it properly expose a picture with a lot of snow? This seems like it should be solvable.
Carefully disassembling my single 1.2 TB Lightroom Classic catalog into Lightroom CC and iCloud Photos. Should not have let a single catalog get so big.
I’m going to finally break, and submit to Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography subscription (1 TB) and Lightroom CC. Sick of being stuck. 😕
Wait, the newest version of Apple Photos cannot import DNG files? What the … 😤
Took my Canon 5D Mark II with the 70-200 f/2.8L to Tyler’s baseball game today. Good reminder of how far iPhone photography has to go. 📷
With all the amazing capabilities of the iPhone camera system, it still can’t expose snow properly. I have to up the exposure on all of them. Perhaps Apple needs some camera engineers that don’t live in California.
Looks like Adobe has put Lightroom out of it’s misery. I’m going to have to rethink my entire photo collection. Ugh.
Goodbye JPEG. Hello HEIF!
