Apple, an American tech giant, surpassed $3trn in market value for the first time since January 2022, when it briefly became the first publicly listed company to do so. Shares in the iPhone-maker subsequently slipped back, but they have increased in value by almost 50% this year, despite two consecutive quarters of declining revenues.
