Awesome pictures of Lucky (3 months old) that Tammy took yesterday. Sheβs such a cute puppy!

I liked the privacy and security benefits of having a Pi-Hole at home so much that I decided to put one in the cabin too. Next up cable management. π
Warsaw Business's Customer Appreciation Parade
What can a small township in Minnesota do to bring some cheer to people during the Pandemic lockdown? A parade! Minus the throwing candy part of course. Thanks to these Warsaw, MN businesses: Americas Mattress - Dundas, BFB Solutions, Channel Inn, D&L Real Estate, DGC, Doc’s Dock Campground, Simple Strategies, Rick & Mary Tonjum, The Upper East Side, and Witte Bros!

Gorgeous day β enjoying some time outside with a fire! π₯
We have most of the Osmo games, and today we got Osmo Hot Wheelsβ’ MindRacers. Kids and adults are having fun!

High quality mid-day espresso is a nice upside of working from home. βοΈ
Getting delicious takeout empanadas from Boludo tonight. They seem to be thriving with a ton of business. Great to see! π₯π€
Our kids are doing REM5VR Youth Innovation Lab PLUS. Iβm impressed with the content, and they are enjoying it. This is a great idea to augment the learning at home experience.
I find it interesting that my Pi-hole blocks 10-20% of DNS requests made when nobody is home. Average of 200 DNS requests every 10 mins when nobody is home, and 20-40 of those are some form of tracking. π
Inspiring State of the State from Gov. Tim Walz tonight. Thank you. #StayHomeMN #OneMinnesota
We are in the middle of doing Get Knitβs βStay at home Scavenger Huntβ today! The whole family is having a lot of fun!
Lucky carrying a big stick.

With apologies to my regular barber Gene, I still need to keep it high & tight! Mazie and Tyler did the clipper honors today! π

My friend Mike Rock has picked up posting on his micro.blog (and Twitter by syndication). If your curious to see and here a bit from a Dr. perspective with Covid-19, give him a follow. Plus expect some great non-medical stuff too.
Lucky at 3 months
Today is Lucky’s 3-month birthday, and the completion of her first week as part of our family. She is reminding us what having a puppy involves! Tammy has been working with her with extreme diligence about going outside for the bathroom. She so far doesn’t seem super excited about treats. The kids absolutely adore her. She is slowly getting used to sleeping in her crate at night. She’s super cute and loves to play a lot. She enjoys walks, although she is very distractible. Not sure how many photos there will be of her being held like this, she’s already 16 lbs!
Candle Making, Take Two
I had a redo of candle making today. I messed up the first attempt. I did the fragrance all wrong and added about 20x more of it than I should have. And to make matters worse, the fragrance I chose made me nauseous and gave me a terrible headache. I had to put the candles outside to feel better. Today I took a knife and cut out all the wax from the vessels, and threw the stinky stuff away. Take two with a different fragrance at a much lower dose! So far they are great. Will light them tomorrow. π―
