We are having a party to celebrate my Mom’s 70th Birthday today and we are marking the day with a special POAP! I used Poapathon to get a wonderful custom image to make it even more special.
My Mom has a big birthday this year and her four sisters and brother all drove from North Dakota today and surprised her at dinner tonight. It was awesome! Tomorrow we have more birthday celebrations!

We returned to The Dakota to see The New Standards tonight. We’ve seen Chan, John, and Steve play there at least a dozen times, and they always give a great show. 🎶

We saw BLKBOK tonight at The Dakota and it was a great show and an amazing experience. His performance was unique, passionate, and extremely engaging. We’ll be back for sure. His I AM BLKBOK video is a good intro.
One of my favorite artists on NiftyInk is nnxyz. Tonight I created “nnxyz fan art #0001” merging my block lettering with some of his effect.
Garden status as fall is here: We are still pulling off lots of tomatoes. I had no idea a basil plant can get so big. The strawberries are very full and getting ready for next year. The zinnias are still bright and full.
The water level in Cannon Lake is down a lot. The first wheel on our dock is usually under water. The water level is so low that I cannot get the pontoon to float when I raise the SeaLegs. The boat rests on the lake bottom. Uh oh. Now what? 😳

Minnedemo 37
It was great to see the Twin Cities technology community back together for Minnedemo tonight at the Reverview Theater. Minnedemo was also part of the Twin Cities Startup Week lineup.
The presenters for tonight were great. I also have a special affinity for the vibe of the Riverview Minnedemos. Theatre snacks, food trucks, and a gorgeous evening are a pretty awesome combination.
The demos were really impressive!

I thought IntelligentRx had the most promise to be very impactful for people. SitEat is something I would love to use at MN United games.

I decided to take a big “step up” in Wicky Thing Candles production and get a DigiBoil 9 gallon wax melter. Before we had three melters in two double boilers doing 3 lbs of wax at a time. Things4Good Fall Fundraiser coming November 12th and 13th.
Roadmap by Dariush
I stumbled upon Roadmap by Dariush (0xDariush.eth, @0xDariush) and the project intrigued me. He’s hitchhiking from Armenia to Georgia and Turkey and from there to Europe. He is going to share the story on Ethereum. Interesting!
He’s supporting the journey a number of ways, including proposal 862 from Nouns DAO. I also grabbed one of the OG 100 tokens to support his trip.
I find this sort of experimentation interesting and am curious to see how the experience works.
