At times it is necessary to consider rescheduling a book club meeting. This can introduce a bunch of questions on how to proceed. Below is the process we’ve adopted.

  1. If a member cannot make it to the scheduled meeting and wishes for the club to not reschedule the club should honor that request and leave the meeting as is.
  2. If a member notifies the club more than a week in advance that they cannot make it and wishes to reschedule we will attempt to reschedule but if no date is available within 14 days of the original meeting time we will not reschedule.
  3. If a member notifies the club a week or less before the meeting that they cannot make it the meeting will continue as scheduled.
