Our daughter has a job this summer, and in preparation we got her a checking account and a check card. To test it out tonight she took us out to dinner and paid the bill with her card. Notable milestone.
Our garden is in and hoping all the plants enjoy their new home. Tomatoes, squash, carrots, Brussels, blueberries, lettuce, beans, and more. 🌱
Very pretty sunset colors on the lake tonight.
Our raised garden beds are mostly in. We’ll be preparing the soil and planting shortly. Final step will be placing our Andrew Carson wind sculpture in the middle.
Decided to take in a gorgeous day and work on our porch today. iPad Pro in Sidecar display is nice to have more desktop.
Got A Calendar of Wisdom from Painted Porch. Discovered the book via Ryan Holiday so figured it should be my first purchase from his book store! Will be making this part of my daily reading habit. 📚
Weather recovered for Memorial Day! Sun is out! ☀️🕶
Making breakfast outside is such a blast. And you can make dozens of pancakes in no time at all! Sausage tastes better on the Big Green Egg. 🥞
