August 15-19, 2009 Organized by Kaye

It’s time to start thinking about plans for the 6th annual Olson family weekend. Here’s what I am thinking. Here is a link to the cabin in case you want to look at it.

General thoughts: Try to car pool as much as possible. Each family select a meal to plan/prepare and we will eat out or I’ll provide the remaining meals. Each family should bring beverages and snacks they would like to have available. Michelle should make chocolate chip cookies. Bring any toys, puzzles, games or reading material as desired. Bring any fishing supplies, swim wear, wake boards, floaty devices, etc. as desired. We will be being the boat.

Saturday, August 15

Arrive anytime after noon. We can use the grounds (they have 5 acres) and lake but not the cabin until 4:00 p.m. It’s being cleaned up until then. Mom and Dad and Rusty plan to arrive sometime around noon/one.

Saturday night dinner: Dad and I provide. We celebrate summer birthdays: Angie, Corinne, Dad. I’ll check with those people regarding menu selection.

Sunday: breakfast, lunch, dinner. Eat at cabin. Get back to me if you would like to provide anyone of these.

Monday: breakfast, lunch. Get back to me if you would like to provide either of these meals. We will drive to Nisswa to eat dinner at Rafferty’s pizza and chocolate ox/dairy queen for dessert.

Tuesday: breakfast, lunch. Get back to me if you would like to provide either of these meals. I think that most of you are planning to come back on Tuesday. Don’t know if any one is planning to stay through dinner, but if you are able we can probably eat leftovers.

Wrapup

Hector was sadly unable to make it.

Ping Pong

The ping pong tourney was a ton of fun. Here is the bracket.

Note that this title has an asterisk since Hector wasn’t there.
