The Lightroom 3.2 → Facebook workflow is very, very slick. Only problem is you cannot replace a photo. Republish deletes and uploads again. I expect that is a Facebook limit.

As odd as this seems at first, Amazon EC2’s new “micro” instance is a game changer. Ridiculously cheap for the right task.
A t1.micro reserved instance comes in at $54/year!

Game Center First Impressions
I’m all setup on game center. Find me as “thingles”.
I’m curious to see what non-game things Game Center enables. What could Reeder do with it? Multiuser mind mapping with MindNode?

First impression of Google Streaming Search: hate it. Distracting, clunky. It’s like someone not allowing me to finish a sentence.

Mazie's First Soccer Game
Last week Mazie had her first soccer game! She’s in the Fuller Soccer Club on the Cyclones. With no practice aside from trying on her shin guards and uniform she hit the field.
This is a league for 5-6 year olds and it was a ton of fun to watch. Little kids all chasing the ball! They play 8 periods of 5 minutes each, rotating into various positions. Her first period involved a lot of standing in place and watching, but by the 4th period she was having a ton of fun!
I ran video of the entire 8th period. Mazie was playing center forward.
I feel like I should rename Fall to “Claritin”. 🤧
That was the nicest bus driver ever.
Another great book club meeting tonight. I relish book club nights.
